Announcing 13 Days of Twisted Tinsel Tales!

Posted on 08:35 by Unknown

Assuming (of course) that we all survive the Mayan Apocalypse tomorrow, I am very excited to announce the beginning of my Twisted Tinsel Tales, starting (appropriately enough for my fellow fans of alliteration) on Thursday.

The entire Christmas season usually fills me with dread, forcing me to to seek sanctuary from the endless barrage of lights, crowds, music, crowds, decorations, crowds, messages . . . and did I mention the crowds? With a 16-month old in the house, however, I've found I really can't escape it this year, so I may as well twist it! [insert evil laugh here]

Over the course of the week I'll be putting a horrific/humorous twist on the season, featuring book reviews, interviews, top 13 lists, guest posts, and odd facts about the holiday. The gang from Ho Ho Horror have been great, so watch for their contributions to help kick things off this week.

Day 1 - Interview with Steven Gepp

Day 2 - Cinematic Twisted Tinsel Tales

Day 3 - A Trinity of Twisted Tinsel Tales Tidbits

Day 4 - A Trinity of Twisted Tinsel Tales Tidbits

Day 5 - Twisted Christmases by Tony Dews

Day 6 - Ho Ho Horror edited by Steve Rossiter

Day 7 - Literary Twisted Tinsel Tales

It's all very twisted and terrible, and definitely not traditional, but it's all in good fun. Please join us for a daily antidote to the sugary spiritual sweetness of the season, and enjoy a few guilty pleasures along the way.
